I really liked this first idea—it had a true "podcast music" feel. However, it didn’t quite capture the immediate emotion the NCA team wanted for their listeners.

So, I ditched the half-time feel and added some fun samples to give it a hip, energetic vibe. The team also clarified some references that helped shape the sound.
Final Deliverables
Making the previous version more energetic still wasn’t the answer. So, I went back to square one with a brighter approach. I learned the team was drawn to the shuffle feel from the second try, so I built around that. Below are progressively shorter edits, offering flexible pacing options for the intro.
